Practical informations

Rates 2016/2017 :

Ty Koad is rented "all inclusive" : the provision of bed linen and towels , consumption of pellets for the stove and tourist taxes are included in the price.

Rental prices, from saturday to saturday :
in low season : 325€
in mid season 480€
high season : 695€
in very high season (five weeks in the heart of summer) : 730€.

A deposit of 200 € (uncashed check) will be requested at arrival.

The only option that remains is the household, if you want to leave without cleaning up the house : 50€ .

Note : booking fees charged extra by the Gîtes de France Finistère: 15€.

Thank you for smoking on the terrace ou under the awning, but not in the house .

From the D791 ( Brest) or the D887 ( Quimper), when you get to TAL-AR-GROAS roundabout, take the direction: “Plage de l’Aber” and keep this road, which goes down, then across the Aber valley and then on the opposite hillside up to Le Veniec. In the hamlet, TY KOAD is immediately to the right, opposite the bus shelter.

Access by public transports

It is possible (I already did it) to get to the Gite by bus :
- At Brest railway station, take the line Penn ar Bed N°34, get off at Tal-Ar-Groas.
- At Quimper railway station, take the line Penn ar Bed N°37 , get off at Tal-Ar-Groas, too.

From Tal-Ar-Groas, it takes a good 40 minutes’walk to get to the Gite. But we can also fetch the brave!

The nearest shops

At Tal-Ar-Groas, a bakery which also sells grocery products, a “café - tabac-presse” (= pub, cigarettes and newspapers), a Leclerc supermarket with a self-service laundry facilities on the car park.
